While evil remains the game’s name, the Resident Evil trailer gives us a sneak peek into what to expect from the new series. We have to say; it looks like it will be a very eventful eight episodes.

Netflix’s Resident Evil series is a brand new story not based on the game franchise. The series will focus on Jade, Albert Wesker’s daughter and her experience dealing with the Umbrella Corporation and infected creatures. We follow Jade’s story as she fights for survival from the blood-thirsty infected and other mind-shattering creatures. Simultaneously, we also get glimpses into her past, when she was living in the utopia known as New Raccoon City. This is squaring up to be a real false utopia vs. major dystopia storyline with a lot of action and even more Zombies than ever before

Lance Reddick will be portraying Albert Wesker, a virologist and major character from the Resident Evil franchise. The role of his daughter, Jade, will be played by Ella Balinska. It is rumored that their relationship will form the heart of the series.

Resident Evil will be premiering on Netflix on July 14th, and we honestly can’t wait! If you want to learn more about this new Resident Evil eight-episode series, you can read more here. Of course, be on the lookout for the Netflix ads arriving sooner than we thought.
